I'd recommend it...
It is near impossible to find actual study material for Dantes exams (from the fact sheets)- but at least these practice exams allow you to get a feel for what subject matter will most likely be on the test.I found the Here's to Your Health practice exams helpful & gave me the answers to a lot of questions I did not know, as well as suggesting what areas I may want to review.I passed the exam with flying colors.

Not accurate to Test as of August 2006
I took this test August of 2006, and studied this book for a few hours.This book is basically a huge list of sample Q's and A's (hopefully their answers are correct!)

Make sure you are getting the Study Guide not the Q&A.Fortunately I got the study guide, but some of my classmates got the Q&A which is useless.

Beware of powerscore
A must have for the Lsat. If your thinking of buying the powerscore books. be wary, they will skew every practice test you take because they use real lsat questions from the very practice tests you must take to be ready for the test.My advice is to use the powerscore techniques but avoid answering any of the lsat questions in the books so you can evaluate yourself properly with the official lsat preptests.

LSAT Preparation - #2 most important set of tests you'll buy
If you only take 10 PrepTests before the real LSAT, these shouldn't be the tests you take.Get the newest tests you can beginning with PrepTest 39.They aren't yet sold in a book, so you'll be buying individual test booklets.If you have time to finish all of those then add this book.
Essential to Preparation
The book contains the newest tests released and is a definite necessity to studying for the LSAT.Although it does not contain answer explanations, it is great practice to take as many of these as possible before the real thing.I used them in addition to a more in-depth studying tool and found that together I had great preparation and was totally relaxed and ready on test day. ... Yeah, it's good
I have no other book to compare it to, but it helps me review for my AP Government class tests. I sometimes wish it had more multiple test questions to offer, but overall the information is well classified and it goes into decent detail on every topic. The sample essays are very helpful.

Barron's Is God
Barron's has its shortcomings, sure.I'd still give it five stars, because I earned a 4 on the exam after speed-reading the majority of its contents in a single sitting having not taken a class.I will say this much: the answers to the questions on the exam are in this book; the trick is remembering them! Had I studied more rigorously (i.e., for a week), I am sure I would have earned a five.
A American Government Book......not a book on AP Government preparation guide
I strongly discourage the purchase or use of this book.

THIS BOOK IS A WASTE OF TREES!!!
This book did not help me at all...the content was ok but the strategies sucked and I ended up getting a 2 on the exam. It just gave 2 pages for strategies and it did not have practice questions at the end of each chapter like other books do. Use 5 steps to a 5 (a quarter of the book is about strategies), my friends used it and they said it was soo helpful. Also, this book says 06-07 version but it has been the same for 3 years (i saw the 2003 book in the library). Please take my advice and dont buy this book.

REALLY GOOD review book!!

Extremely Helpful and Concise
Unlike Princeton Review's other test prep books where they constanly stuff your mouth with the 'latest' test taking techniques to help you score higher on the tests, Princeton Review does an amazing thing: they filled the book with CONTENT!!!The book is organized according to how college board organizes the information.Near the beginning of the topics (like Constitutional Underpinnings, Public Policy, Civil Rights, etc.), Princeton Review places a list of important terms.I made a terms worksheet and filled it in as I went - extremely helpful.

helped me get a 252 on step 1
VERY great book...there were graphs on my step 1 that were straight outta this book....if ur on a systems based coursework use it...read it twice in prep for the boards...and u'll do great....do the questions on subjects u aren't clear on...
The Best Review Book for step 1
This is, hands down, the best review book for step 1.It is not wordy. There is not a lot of fluff. You can probably read the entire book in just a few days with good retention.Works well in combination with First Aid for boards.

Best of the BRS series
There are only two great BRS review books. This (physiology) and the behavioral BRS are well organized, concise, and complete.

Necessary, but not overly helpful
I believe this book is necessary for anyone preparing for the Praxis, but it isn't overly helpful.Minimal explanations for the answers are given, but it does give an idea of the format of the test and the type of questions included.

A great study guide
I used this as a guide to prepare for the Praxis Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment test.It has a chapter called "Study Topics" which outlines what will be on the test.I went through the chapter and researched and studied each item thoroughly.I also read the other chapters which give advise on test taking.It has a practice test which was also helpful.Studying and preparing for the test took a long time and lots of work but it was worth it.I felt very prepared for the test and passed it on the first try. ... not very helpfull.....
I was a bit dissapointed with this book, it was pretty un-organized, didn't have very much usefull information pertainting to the real estate exam, and didn't seem very helpfull....

If you're taking the test you need this book!
This book is chocked full of info that you need.The chapters are laid out and explained really well.It helps you to understand the lessons that your going to school for alittle better by the way it explains them differently (especially the math!!!)

Any indication
I'm sure to buy this book today. I have the "Weather for Dummies" book, and if that is any indication, you simply can not go wrong with this book. The "Dummies" books are always filled with in depth information. I couldn't believe the amount of information the books hold. This book is definately a safe bet.

Very comprehensive
This book is very comprehensive, interesting and is one of the best on the market (I bought four nursing school entrance exam preparation books ). Reading about science was never boring. I would definitely recommend it.

Decent review book but could be better
This book was all I needed to pass the exam on my first try, even without any auditing coursework or experience. I'm not sure how it compares to Bisk, but the material is dense and it's hard to read more than a few pages at once. Accordingly, each of the "section reviews" is far too long and should be split up. There are 6 sections that take up 380 pages (much of this is for practice questions and answers), along with a 100+ page outline of professional standards (which there's no need to look at).

A Clear and Concise Guide on How to Write a Successful Statement for your Application Package

a MUST for all students applying to graduate school.
This book was EXCELLENT. I had read two other books before this one, and was disappointed. Though they claimed to be good for grad apps, they were clearly geared toward undergraduate application essays. This book asks thought-provoking questions that help to bring to light relevant experiences and skills that you may have left out. It is great as far as taking you through the process of brainstorming, writing, and revising, but also explains how to write a good essay even if the deadline is looming. It was very good at helping me to organize my thoughts and feel like a good essay was just around the corner - which did wonders for calming my anxiety about the process. The examples in the book were also very helpful, and this is the first book I have seen that had sections dedicated to specific programs (medical, law, business, etc.) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

Personal Statement 101
In "How to Write a Winning Personal Statement for Graduate and Professional School", Mr.Stelzer concisely elucidates how one must bring out an original yet refreshing personal statement. 90% of the sample essays are geared towards the Big 3- Law, Medical, and Business. For students interested in other programs like myself, there are several takeaways one could get from this book. I would strongly suggest using the questionnaires in the Appendix. I learned several things from the pages on advice from admissions representatives. I would also suggest reading all the sample essays first and then the introductory chapter which would help one lay out the groundwork for an original personal statement. SAT-tutor approved!
I've been tutoring SAT students in Manhattan, Connecticut, and New Jersey for ten years now, and I've never seen any other resource or material like this book/CD. It's really a whole new way to approach studying vocab - one of the most dreaded and most necessary parts of preparing for the test - that I think students will really go for. The songs are terrific! I just got my hands on this book (after a friend recommended it) and can't wait to use it with my students this fall.

Essential for the SAT
I have been an SAT Tutor for the most elite students in New York City for 8 years, and this CD is an absolute must buy. I have all of my students buy it. Who has time or a desire to study flash cards? Rock the SAT takes all the work out of vocab studying and makes it fun! One recent student scored an 800 on her Verbal section and said to me, "I could here the lyrics going through my head during the test. Rock the SAT saved me!" It's that good.

interesting...
It's a lot more fun than the other SAT books/flashcards out there, I must say. As an avid music listener, the music isn't amazing, but it works. The words range from really easy (moasic, parallel) to difficult (the first song - reticence, taciturn, laconic). You can prevew a song on the Rock the Sat website too.

Lots of errors
I noticed a lot of errors while using this book.When you are taking the exams - the answers don't match the rationale.For example - the book says the answer is #2, but the rationale matches the answer for #3.Not recommended.

MUST HAVE TO PASS
Love this book!Went through every question in the entire book as a review and also took Kaplan's prep class.Passed NCLEX with 75 questions.WOW!I owe passing to this book, seriously.If you're hard pressed for time, just do the questions in this book and learn from the answers.

good book
I used this while in nursing school and it is a excellent refresher and review after studying your text books & class lecture. I must admit I did not use it for the NCLEX because I misplaced it after Hurricane Katrina. I used the NSNA review book & Frye 3000 nursingbullets to study which were simplyexcellent and all you need to pass the NCLEX on first try. I still think the Lippincott Review is a good user friendly book so give it or the NSNA-RN a try. ... Read more
