A-1 Books
Great book, I had to use a friends book to prepare for my upcoming exam.I order this book via Amazon with sale via A-1 Books. Accordingly it was indicated as "in stock" and would be shipped within 2 days.I ordered the book on July 29th, received a e-mail from A-1 a week later telling me they are out-of-stock on this item and they expect it to be in stock in 3 days and I should expect delivery by the 17th, which is much too late.I considered what A-1 did to be false advertising, baiting and switching to steer me away from other vendors who had the book for sale and ready to ship. They knew they didn't have the book in stock, why didn't they update their Amazon inventory listing.It should be crossed referenced/verified before a customer's credit card is charged. Amazon is partially to blame for not monitoring the vendors they represent; and giving customer false expected ship dates. I will never order anything again from A-1 or Amazon. They didn't even have the common decency to offer me free overnight shipping for their mistake.That's not good customer service at all!!

Great Study Guide
I took the PSI Affiliate Broker exam for the first time and passed.This is a great book to review prior to taking theexam.I had a great teacher for pre-licensed 1 & 2 courses. However, I used the PSI book as a review. I took the exams in the PSI book which help me identify with my weak areas.I recommend this book for anyone who is about to take the PSI Affiliate Broker exam. Good Luck!!

AWESOME!!
I purchased this review book and studied it along with the ACR. Most of the information in the book was on the registry except it lacked pathology and there were a few errors when you took the practice tests in the book.You really had to make sure you reviewed the answers.I got a 90 a my mammo registry!! I highly recommend this book!! I was a self study and was not able to attend any conferences so my information came from this book and the ACR.

Great Study Guide
I used this study guide and found the questions and the style of questions very helpful for the ARRT Exam.I used this Appleton and Lange Study guide along with a guide from an initial mammography training conference and had no trouble passing the exam.

Good format, watch the answers carefully.
Overall, the review questions were helpful, but there are several mistakes in this book. Some of the mistakes seemed to be poor proof reading, but many other questions/answers seem to directly contradict the text in the same book. That can be very confusing. ... Read more

Excellent
I am taking Stat 244 after taking the first class 5 years ago. I needed a review to catch up, but I am finding that this is much more comprehensible than the textbook and the instructor. Nice and straight forward... Makes you wonder why you need to spend $80+ for a used textbook in college when you can learn it more efficiently from this little guy...THANK YOU!!!!!!

Great text and reference
Clearly written more for chemical engineers, as a physicist I have still found myself going back many times over to the 1st. ed., and now to the improved 2nd. ed..The book contains an ample collection of tables of thermal properties for many materials.The theoretical coverage of conduction, convection and radiation is excellent, and the example problems have a practical nature to them.

What a difference!
Evereyone has an opinion on a book, so I thought I would share mine. Yes, this book has a ton of information, maybe too much for the exam.
This is the book you need to pass BSCI
I used only this book as a reading material for the exam and I passed on my first try. This book contains a lot of valueble material about routing and it is good as a future reference for routing.
A must have for BSCI exam takers
I am using this Cisco Press Self-Study and Cisco Press Exam Certification Guide for BSCI exam. Generally, I find this book much helpful compared to certification guide. Most concepts are elaborately discussed with good lab examples and I have almost no problem understand all of it at first glance. (I have just begun career in networking while reading this book and I don't have in-depth knowledge of routing protocols). I like the author style of writing and I am looking forward to read another of her certification books.

An excellent study guide
I took my SATs the first time without this book and did not do bad, but it could have been better. I bought this book and studied it, then took my SATs again. My scores went up dramaticaly and I had a better understanding of my answers.

Now Officially worthless.
This book is now officially worthless because there will be no more old SAT test taking. Do not buy this book if you have or are a son or daughter taking the SAT. The same goes for all non New SAT. Anything that is NEW SAT is good.

Buy This Book!
The real strength in this book is the practice tests.They are literally the real thing.There is no better way to raise your score.Though I do recomend another book with this one to raise your vocabulary and such.I recomend it for everyone and, being a seventh grader, think this book is perfect for anyone in any grade.I raised my score from an 1130 to a 1350! ... Great but with a few flaws
Overall, this book is great. Everything is pretty clear and it makes algebra II almost easy. However, there are many typos I found, like forgetting a negative, or using a wrong variable. but otherwise, it's awesome!

Friggin' Incredible.
This book got me through a very grueling high school chem class. It is very easy to understand. I can't put my finger on it, but something about the way this book is written just makes understanding come naturally for me.
Great resource!
This book is very helpful for people trying to grasp the basics of chemistry.I'm one who really loves science, but I get a little bogged down in the details and calculations involved, so this book helped me get through the tough math.To me it reads like a textbook, only it cuts out all the filler, so it's very easy to find what I'm looking for, and the descriptions are clean and to the point.

great resource for its size
Most A&P textbooks are just too big to be useful for review.This Cliffs Quick Review is great in that they have packed a lot of important information into such a small and readable book.The figures and tables don't compare artistically to those found in the extremely expensive full color glossy pages of the latest textbooks, but they are competitive in terms of being useful and helpful for learning.This book is a very good resource for review.You may need to use other resources if, for example, you want to review more than the very basics of physiology, but for a general review this book does just fine.

A&P made easy
I bought this book for my Anatomy & Physiology I and II classes. It was a huge help to me. Topics are made easy to understand, and it is very portable with is smaller size. It is very clear and concise and includes helpful charts and diagrams. So if you are needing a little extra help with these classes, I would recommend this book. It's cheap, not bulky, and makes difficult concepts easy.

Excelente- me parece muy bueno para los estudiantes
This is a wonderful workbook for Intermediate level Spanish students who wish to instantly build their vocabulary. The learning approach is thematic, meaning each chapter focuses on vocabulary pertinent to a theme such as: At the airport (En el aeropuerto), On the airplane (En el avi�n) or At the train station (En la estaci�n de ferrocarril) to name a few. The book provides ample practice exercises, with an answer key at the back of the book and what I found really valuable was each chapter has a mini paragraph about the theme in question that incorporates the vocabulary taught in the lesson. The workbook will definitely help the student to expand his/ her vocabulary because the chapters encompass everyday themes thus detailing everyday vocabulary. I feel it's more for an Intermediate level student because one would have to have a solid base to benefit from the new material presented in the chapters without feeling frustrated and also have beyond beginner reading and comprehension skills. This is a good supplementary study aid to classroom lessons or independent study.

Great supplement
This is a great supplement to any basic physics course. I really found it useful that it contained several problems with solutions to help you work problems out.

Latest edition of THE Schaum's for college physics
Many freshman college physics textbooks are just awful. They often go on and on about what is obvious and gloss over the finer points...and of course there are no examples. This is where this book comes in. As in all Schaum's outlines, for each topic there are a few pages of theory including equations, then some problems with the solutions worked out extensively, and then finally some problems with the answers but no extensive solution. The format of the outline is the same that you should expect in any two semester college freshman physics sequence. The first part of the book is an explanation of vectors, newtonian mechanics, fluids, and thermodynamics. The second part of the book follows the usual second semester of freshman physics - electricity, magnetism, and optics. The final seven chapters of the outline are an introduction to modern physics, which engineers and physics students would normally take after they finish the two semester freshman physics sequence. A note of caution - do not buy the attractively named "Schaums Outline of Physics for Engineering and Science". It is chocked full of errors! Instead, stay with this old reliable title. It is the best. This is the very recently released 10th edition, so Amazon does not show the table of contents. I do that here so you can compare it to the 9th edition and see if it is worth the upgrade.

Comprehensive Guide to Statistics
This excellent book provides a comprehensive look at statistical methods.It's a great reference guide with 19 chapters, each of which build nicely on one another.
Schaum's Outline of Statistics
This is a handy desk guide to statistics for someone who needs a statistical referemce as part of their job but is not a statistician, ie, performance management, data preparation or other information analysis.I compared this book to many others and found it the most comprehensive.

A Failed Attempt
This book is sloppily edited, with numerous typos in the equations. Page 91 has two symbolic errors plus a text error.

A good help for any struggling Math student
This book helped me achieve a higher score after I went through half the workbook. I increased my math score from a 610 to 700 in 3 weeks. This book does do wonders. However, some of the explainations of the problems and how to work them are vauge and really don't give you a sense on how to apply them to other problems with the same underlying concept. In conjunction with this book, I would have to recommend Kaplan's SAT 1600 and Kaplan's SAT II Math IC for mastery of harder questions and for more review.

Vague Explanations
This book contains very good practice material but the explanations to the answer choices are very vague and difficult to understand.
Buy this book!
I would definately recommend that you buy this book.The practice that it gave me was extremely helpful, as well as the "SAT Math in a Nutshell" section.The format was easy to follow and true to the SAT, giving me plenty of practice, and help where I needed it.It improved my math SAT score 50 points - from 630 to 680.And I only did about half of the book!Imagine if I had worked through the whole thing.It's not hard, however - the book is designed so that you only tackle one (approximately) 30-minute section at a time.Just remember - for best results, make sure that you start using this book 3 weeks to a month ahead of time.Read more

Great study guide
After I earned an MS in math and Ph.D. in physics, I ended up using my technical skills pricing otpions in a trading floor selling weather derivatives.I wondered if I was missing something since I had no background in basic investment science.I deeply enjoyed reading the book.I found the examples to be helpful, and the homework problems (with solutions) to be accessible.My biggest complaints is that many of the detailed solutions were not proof read for errors, and there are quite a few "arithmetical" ERRORS.Today, teaching a lot of business mathematics classes, this is one of the Schaum's outline series I recommend as a study guide and textbook supplement, especially for intermediate courses in economic theory.
Good Study Material but Some Sloppy Errors
I read this book to supplement my CFA curriculum studies.Compared to other Schaum's books, Financial Management by Shim and Siegel merits a rating of between 3 and 3 1/2.
great resource
I don't know what that reader below is saying.?? This book was very helpful to me when I used this for a finance class. It's great because it has quizzes/exams, definitions, key terms, a useful index, many many sample problems, and formulas in bold. When you are a busy person and are using this as a refresher, or in conjunction w/ a textbook, it's very helpful to have this paperback workbook to go through for a quick reference.
