Crowd Pleasing Winner!
We use this callendar on the front desk in our veterinary practice. It gets rave reviews every year, and many requests to know where we got it. We also get the cat Cat Gallery Calendar too! Can't go wrong with either one.

Best page-a-day calendar for dog lovers!
Wonderful smile-inducing calendar...High quality paper with great photos(larger than most page-a-day calendars; each page measures 6 X 7 inches). I have purchased the Dog Gallery Calendar for the past three years and have pre-ordered several 2007 versions to give as gifts this Christmas. Highly recommended!

Best quality page-a-day I've found!
I really like my 2006 Dog Gallery Page-A-Day Calendar.The pictures are great, they're larger than most page-a-day pictures and printed on quality paper, and each picture is accompanied by a line or two of doggy insight.I like the plastic holder that allows shifting of each day's photo to the back of the stack instead of the tear-off type calendars that require regular peeling off of binding that remains after each page is removed.Because it is larger than most page-a-day calendars, people with limited desk space may find it a bit cumbersome but I love it!I will purchase this item every year.(TO WORKMAN PUBLISHING: Perhaps you could make only the calendar pages available to those of us who already have the plastic holder?) ... Features changed this year...
Thank you, previous reviewer! You verified what I suspected. I didpeek at this at a bookstore, and came online to make certain that this was the indeed the same calendar(?!), it seemed so different. Alas, it is true, the design has been changed, and not for the better. My favorite graphic elements of the old design have disappeared - the fun, multicolor numbers, the literary quotations, the thumbnail photo. The old design was so pleasing to the eye that everyone was drawn to it when we'd hang out in the kitchen. I went to great lengths every year to track this calendar down. Now, I have to find something else...

Major changes from previous years
August 2006 I opened my new "2007 Out on the Porch Calendar."I'm very disappointed with the major changes to the layout and design of the calendar.All the numbers are black rather than pastels.Nice little features are missing such as secondary pictures of porches on each month.No longer the short excerpts of various writters.Pictures are not quite as "quaint" and "whimsical."Next year I will go to the bookstore so I can see what I'm paying for.ALSO, THE CALENDAR YOU SEE ON LINE FOR 2007, IS NOT THE SAME CALENDAR I RECEIVED. ... If you love Fay, you'll love this fun calendar!
I originally fell in love with William Wegman's work when watching Fay play dress up on Sesame Street. tasteless
as a dog lover i was looking forward to the delivery of this calendar, but was disappointed when it came. take a closer look at the back cover of the thing, which shows a small pic of each month's photo... leaves delicately placed on the dog's head, a bbq covered in tin foil to represent a lunar space module, two (wahey!) versions of managing to ARTISTICALLY pile things on top of the beautiful Weimeraner (sp?)... it gets better- there are wigs, interestingly placed flowers... honestly.You want to rescue the poor mutt and tell it not to take any notice of this, frankly, floundering photographer.Read more
